Earthling South Australian Chardonnay

This Earthling South Australian Chardonnay is a pale straw with a slightly green hue, with fresh, lifted aromas of peach and subtle tropical fruit characters along with touch of citrus. Mouth-filling whilst still embracing a light and delicate texture. Refreshing tight acidity and a lovely clean finish. Earthling Wines is the exciting alliance of young gun Barossa winemakers Toby Yap, Matt Dunning, Will Bolton and wine raconteur Tony Gray. Our philosophy is grounded in respect for the earth and best practice viticulture as to ensure a legacy of sustainability and longevity for generations to come. Our wines are crafted from Australia’s pedigree wine growing districts with the aim to produce wines that excel in varietal character, regional integrity and outstanding value. Earthling South Australian Chardonnay grapes are harvested at night to keep them cool for delivery to the winery where they are gently pressed. After cold settling the clear juice is carefully racked to temperature controlled fermentation tanks and inoculated with selected yeasts. Cool fermentation is followed by minimal handling, filtration prior to bottling.
